As human beings created in the image of God, we share a common humanity.  Christ blessed our humanity as "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."  We at MCC in the Valley believe that care for those in poverty and in need is part of the good works that flow from a loving relationship with God.  Care for the needy is an important part of a healthy spiritual community.
