				Out at the Circus 3 For the third consecutive year, MCCV's summer fundraiser, OUT! has the Circus as its popular theme. Our folks have been generous in donating gift certificates, items for silent auction and for raffle. The fabulous ZIRCON AERIAL ENTERTAINERS are back with an expanded show; fire eaters and stilt walkers are also performing. Other entertainment has fallen into place, and folks will be available to read tarot cards, cast astrological charts, and read your palm. There is a growing carnival atmosphere on our premises as the preparations fall into place. Carnivals, for Christians, were typically public festivals before Lent such as our Mardi Gras celebrations, combining public street party and circus. On a smaller scale, we are having a public street party and some circus acts—including the ever popular dunking booth. Music, raffles, food, and silent auction and other carnival activities are featured again. And MCCV's Justice Love awards will be presented to: - Rise Up And Shout! - Joe Mannetti Robin - Tyler & Diane Olson We ask you to invite friends to our celebration. Our church knows how to party and welcome diverse people in the tradition of Jesus.

In fact, it is the opposite, addressing all of us the need to understand that Jesus is the main course of the festive banquet as he will be once more this Sunday. The summer season for the music department continues this week with special music provided by a scintillating mixed group of singers, including Tom Rossi, Fred Smith, Tom Allard, Gregor Glander, Megan More, Joe Shore Goss, Gil Dawson, Edwin Goodman, and Chet Rychcik, singing "God's Always Been Faithful", while the offertory music will be provided by the equally exciting Joe Warner.
